January 14, 2022, witnessed the conclusion of IQOO BGIS Grand Finals Day 2, where the 16 finalists showcased their skills in the quest for championship glory. BGIS Grand Finals represents the culminating stage of BGMI’s inaugural major tournament, and the champion of this event earns an invitation to the PMGC Grand Finals 2021. With a substantial 1 CR INR prize pool, the grand finals unfolded from January 13 to January 16, 2022.
On Day 2 of the BGIS Grand Finals, Team XO emerged as the front-runners on the leaderboard. The team displayed exceptional gameplay across all matches, securing a coveted WWCD (Winner Winner Chicken Dinner). TSM India claimed the second spot on Day 2 with 129 points, followed by Reckoning Esports and Skylightz Gaming in the third and fourth positions with 122 and 112 points, respectively. Team Godlike Esports, despite dominating the Day 1 points table, slipped to the fifth position on Day 2 after facing early elimination.
