What to Know About the Ranabaali Movie?
Ranabaali stars the real-life married couple Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles. Vijay plays the titular hero role, and Rashmika portrays Jayamma, with Arnold Vosloo playing the villainous Sir Theodore Hector.
Little is known about the movie’s plot. However, the film’s official synopsis, per IMDB, reads, “Follows a rebellious warrior in 1870s South India during the great famine who confronts a British commissioner while protecting his region and people.”
Rahul Sankrityan, who previously directed Shyam Singha Roy and Taxiwala, is helming the PAN-India project from a script by Pramod Tammineni. Meanwhile, Ajay-Atul are composing the music. Anurag Parvathaneni and Shiv Chanana serve as co-producers.
The movie is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar under the Mythri Movie Makers banner. Gulshan Kumar and Bhushan Kumar present the film under T-Series Films.
Ranabaali is being positioned as a Pan-India release and is scheduled to arrive in theatres on 16 October 2026. The movie will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.
