The Zombie Reddy franchise is officially returning with a new chapter. The sequel has been titled Zombie Reddy 2 – NXT LVL, with Teja Sajja set to reprise his association with the franchise. The title announcement has now been unveiled, giving fans their first major update on the upcoming Telugu zombie entertainer.
The new film brings together Teja Sajja and People Media Factory for another collaboration. Teja and the production house previously worked on the fantasy action-adventure, Mirai. TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad under the People Media Factory banner are producing the project. Suparn S Varma is directing the sequel, while Prasanth Varma, who directed the original Zombie Reddy, is credited as its creator.
What Does Zombie Reddy 2 NXT LVL Reveal About the Sequel?
The title NXT LVL suggests that the makers are looking to take the franchise in a new direction while retaining its zombie-entertainer identity. However, specific story details and the plot of the sequel have not yet been revealed.
The cast includes Teja Sajja, Kannada superstar Upendra and Shanaya Kapoor, making her entry into Telugu Film industry. The combination gives the sequel a considerably different cast lineup from the first movie and adds another major name to the franchise.

The original Zombie Reddy was released in February 2021 and was directed by Prasanth Varma. Teja Sajja led the film alongside Anandhi and Daksha Nagarkar. The movie was presented as a zombie comedy set against the backdrop of Kurnool and became notable as one of Telugu cinema’s early entries into the zombie genre.
For the sequel, Suparn S Varma takes over as director, with Prasanth Varma continuing his involvement as the creator. Hussain Dalal, Abbas Dalal, Prasanth Varma and Suparn S Varma are credited as writers.
The technical team also includes music composer Gowra Hari, cinematographer Abhinandan Ramanujam and editor Vijay Velukutty. With the title now officially revealed, more details about Zombie Reddy 2 NXT LVL, including its story and a 2027 release date, are expected to emerge in the coming days.
