Mega Star Chiranjeevi’s Bhola Shankar is all set to come to the big screens in your home with its OTT Release. Bhola Shankar is a remake of Vedalam and it debuted in theatres on August 11.

Bhola Shankar’s digital streaming rights were bought for a reasonable cost by OTT giant Netflix. Typically, a film’s OTT debut occurs five weeks after its theatrical launch. Bhola Shankar will also be available on Netflix in the fifth week. The creators have set September 15 as the launch date for streaming.

Bhola Shankar Plot: What to Expect in Chiranjeevi’s Action-Drama Film?

According to the official description, “a former gangster who is now taxi driver accidentally draws the anger of criminal group after assisting the police in exposing smuggling ring.” He begins relentless quest for the mobsters accountable, motivated by strong desire for justice and the protection of his adoptive sister.

In the movie Bhola Shankar, Chiranjeevi shares the screen with acclaimed actresses Keerthy Suresh and Tamannaah. The screenplay, penned by Meher Ramesh, is also directed by him. Bhola Shankar’s dialogues are written by Mamidala Thirupathi. The film is edited by Marthand K Venkatesh, and Dudley serves as the cinematographer. Mahathi Swara Sagar is responsible for the film’s soundtrack and background score. The production is sponsored by Ramabrahman Sunkara and KS Rama Rao through their companies AK Entertainment and Creative Commercials.

Prior to its release, Bhola Shankar faced a lukewarm reception from fans, with even the film’s creators adopting a low-key promotional strategy. Post-release, the film received extensive criticism and unfavourable reviews for its repetitive storyline, stale humour, and outdated narrative.
