This collaboration has resulted in Heena, a character whose in-game backstory forms a crucial part of Indus’ universe where her actions have made her a living legend. “Indus’ Heena has the right aspects of my attitude and personality,” says Heena Sidhu. “I hope you’ll enjoy playing as her as much as I had fun working with SuperGaming to bring her into the game.”

“At SuperGaming, we take the term ‘putting India on the global gaming map’ seriously,” says Roby John, co-founder and CEO of SuperGaming. “Heena’s track record of excellence speaks for itself with putting India on the global map for shooting, this made collaborating with her the obvious choice.”

Explore the captivating lore and origins of these characters by watching the video provided here:

“Mor-Ni is an expression of India’s rich history with a look into the future,” says Roby John.

“The initial thought was trying to answer how Indian culture, such as the well-established,
recognisable symbols like the Indian peacock and Indo-fashion elements would look like from the lens of Indo-Futurism, while being highly inspired from the idea of creating a strong female character that exudes elegance, glamour, pride, and confidence.”

Upon the launch of Indus, both Heena and Mor-Ni will be available as playable characters. For those eager to dive into the action, pre-registration is currently open on the Google Play Store for Android, with pre-registrations for iOS and iPadOS coming soon on the App Store. Released in March 2022, Apex Legends Mobile, a highly popular and visually impressive battle royale video game, entered the mobile gaming market. However, the application was officially launched in May 2022. Regrettably, both Respawn Entertainment and EA, the game’s developers, have confirmed that Apex Legends Mobile will be globally discontinued later this year. Adding to the disappointment, EA also announced the cancellation of the development of Battlefield Mobile.

Despite the eventual setback, the initial launch of Apex Legends Mobile was highly successful, accomplishing various milestones. The mobile version faithfully replicates all the features, modes, and maps available in the PC and console versions. Moreover, developers introduced mobile-exclusive content, enhancing the gaming experience exclusively for the mobile user base

Within 8 months of its release, the game studio has now confirmed that it will be shutting down the mobile version of the Apex Legend to “maintain high-quality experience and content that our players deserve.”

Respawn claimed, “Following a strong start, the content pipeline for Apex Legends Mobile has begun to fall short of that bar for quality, quantity, and cadence. It is for this reason, after months of working with our development partner, that we have made the mutual decision to sunset our mobile game. Although disappointing, we are proud of the game we launched, are grateful for the support of the Apex Legends community, and are confident that this is the right decision for players.”

Apex Legends Mobile has a reputation for introducing adjustments to the main game that gamers would have liked to see, such as extra skills for current legends, new game modes, and a pair of mobile-exclusive legends, Fade and Rhapsody. Apex Legends Mobile has been awarded Best mobile game of the Year at the Playstore Best Awards 2022 and Best iPhone Game of the Year at the App Store Awards 2022.

Commencing today, the application will no longer facilitate the acquisition of any in-app purchases, and the company has announced the impending removal of the game from webstores. Players who presently possess any purchased items can utilize them until the global shutdown of the game on May 1, 2023. Any existing virtual currency balances within the game will be preserved in your account, permitting their use for in-game items until 4 PM PDT on May 1, 2023.

During the ninety-day sunset period, you can continue to enjoy all previously acquired in-game items and purchases.

EA has clearly confirmed that it will not provide any refund for the real-money purchases that a player has made. Apex Legends Mobile servers will close down globally on 1 May 2023 at 4 PM PDT.

EA is also halting development on its planned Battlefield mobile game, which it announced in April 2021. “As the industry has evolved and our strategy to create a deeply connected Battlefield ecosystem has taken shape, we decided to pivot from the current direction to best deliver on our vision for the franchise and to meet the expectations of our players,” EA wrote in a news post on its website.

The studio in the blog post claimed that it remains positive about “mobile as a platform” and will “look forward to new opportunities to serve players there in the future.”
