New State Mobile is one of the hit battle royale titles on the mobile platform, developed by Krafton. They regularly launch new updates and recently the devs rolled out an update on the Play Store focusing on reducing lag in gameplay. But, the update did fix lag issues but not to a greater extent.

• Update your device software: The first and foremost thing is to check that your device is upgraded to the latest Operating System (OS) Version, if that is not the case, then go to Settings- About Device. Tap on “check for updates” to see if there is a newer version of your phone’s OS.

As you all might know, graphic settings play a key role when you own a low-end or mid-range smartphone. On top of that, New State Mobile is based on Unreal Engine 4 and it requires a heck of a device to run at its optimum level. Despite the fact that everyone could not afford such high-end smartphones, you can still reduce the graphics to play it smoothly enough.

What are the graphics settings that one should keep, to reduce lag in New State Mobile?

• To adjust your game’s graphic settings, go to the game’s settings and then tap on the “Graphics” option, you will come across various graphics settings. For mid-end devices, it is recommended to set framerate settings to “Very High” and the phone’s Graphics Quality settings should be Lite. For low-end phones, Graphics Quality settings should be on Lite and Framerate set to “High” or “Medium”.

• If the lag in your game still persists, then it might be a problem with storage in your phone as it might be less than 2 GB. For New State to run lag-free, the game needs a device which has more than 5 GB of free space.
