Online Qualifiers: Qualifiers will be held first, to filter all the players from the thousand players. Players play such online tournaments from their homes and generally, there are no entry fees in such online tournaments but that depends on the organizer.

A LAN stands for Local Area Network and such events will be held under one roof with all the gaming consoles connected to a single router connection. People or audiences will come over to the LAN events to watch their favourite competitive players playing in the arena. Online events are completely different to LAN events where players can be in different areas and still play together while connecting in-game.

During online events, players can use their own set of equipment and in-game settings. When it comes to LAN events, the settings are predetermined and sometimes, the players will not be given the chance to pick the devices. Moreover, playing at LAN events will not have any sort of network/ping issues that they would have while playing an online event. Suppose, if a player/team plays from Russia, and competes against a team in Western Europe.

Pulling a LAN event is burdensome because they have to look for players’ transportation, accommodation, arena planning and designing, cameras, seating arrangement for viewers and much more. Sometimes player’s performance depends on the environment that he plays in.
