Rockstar Games has finally released the much-awaited first trailer of GTA 6, the next instalment in the action-adventure video game series. The trailer was released ahead of its schedule as it was leaked, the company pushed the release well before. The game will act as the sequel to 2013’s GTA V, the second-best-selling video game of all time.
The next instalment in the Grand Theft Auto Series will take place in Vice City, a map close to every gamer’s heart. GTA 6 trailer 1 shows off the game’s setting in Miami, and it prominently features a female protagonist, Lucia. She seems to be initiating a series of criminal activities alongside her partner. Although Rockstar Games has not disclosed the plot or storyline, the soundtrack featured in the trailer is “Long is a Long Road” by Tom Petty.

Rockstar Games Launched GTA 6 Trailer Ahead of its Schedule
The trailer was leaked online and the company has rolled out the trailer ahead of the scheduled time. The trailer which runs for 1 minute 30 seconds, has hit 50 million on YouTube within 10 hours of its release. Watch the trailer below:
The visuals or graphics will be top-notch as seen in the trailer and much to its hype, the female lead will be the most highlighting point of the game. Portraying the complete modern American hedonistic atmosphere of Vice City, featuring wildlife and numerous NPCs, the trailer then introduces the second protagonist, Jason. It highlights the close relationship between Jason and Lucia as they unite in a Bonnie and Clyde-style partnership to engage in criminal activities. The trailer concludes by unveiling the release date timeline for GTA 6, set for 2025.
A brief description of the game has been shared by the company in a press release, “Grand Theft Auto VI heads to the state of Leonida, home to the neon-soaked streets of Vice City and beyond in the biggest, most immersive evolution of the Grand Theft Auto series yet.”
The game is confirmed to be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S consoles. While it is expected to eventually arrive on PCs, an official release timeline has not been disclosed as of now. Drawing parallels with the release pattern of GTA 5, it’s worth noting that there was a gap of more than a year between the console and PC launches for that game.
