The Pokemon Unite India Open 2023, which commenced on November 6 with 43 teams participating in the Open Qualifier, is approaching its conclusion. Pokemon Unite has cultivated a robust community in India and stands as one of the prominent MOBA games in the country. The game has significantly impacted the Indian esports landscape, surpassing some titles in terms of popularity.
Initiating on November 8, the Pokemon Unite India Open 2023 Playoffs will showcase eight teams that qualified from the Open Qualifiers and two invited teams. The playoffs adopt a double-elimination bracket format, with all matches following a Best-of-three structure, except for the Grand Finals, which will be a Best-of-five match.
The finals are scheduled to take place as a LAN event whose details are mentioned below.

Pokemon Unite India Open 2023 Playoffs Progress: Finals LAN Event Details
The playoffs included the following ten teams:

- Learn from Past
- Team SZ
- Forge your Legacy
- Team Clown 5
- Team NDY
- Team True Gractiy
- Revenant Esports
- Team Soul (Invited)
- FS Esports (Invited)

S8UL and Revenant Esports are teams which have a prominent presence in the Indian esports of Pokemon Unite. However, both of them have not qualified for the LAN playoffs whereas FS Esports has made it to the LAN event.
The LAN Event will be played by the following four teams:
- Team True Gravity
- Forge Your Legacy
- FS Esports
- Team Griffin
The LAN event is scheduled to take place at KD Jadhav Wrestling Arena, IG Indoor Stadium, Delhi from 1 PM IST. The top six teams from the tournament will be qualified for the 2024 Asia Champions League – India. Revenant Esports and Clown 5 have already confirmed their spot while the rest four are mentioned above.
Prize Pool Distribution
The total prize pool of the tournament is Rs 10 lakhs which is distributed among the teams as follows:
- 1st place: Rs 4 lakhs
- 2nd place: Rs 2.75 lakhs
- 3rd place: Rs 1.75 lakhs
- 4th place: Rs 1 lakh
The hosters, Skyesports and the Pokemon Company have arranged a meet and greet with popular content creators from the Indian Gaming Community where the audience can enjoy the LAN in the presence of renowned creators in the community. So far, Sooneeta Thapa Mgr and Undergraduate Gamer(Ayush Dubey) have been confirmed for the program.
