The fourth instalment of the Skyesports Champions Series (SCS) for BGMI concluded, and Blind Esports emerged as the champions, showcasing absolute dominance. Blind Esports, a seasoned PUBG Mobile Esports team in India, transitioned to BGMI, leaving an indelible mark on the Indian BGMI community with an outstanding performance that showcased a full spectrum of skills and talent.

The Grand Finals of SCS BGMI unfolded from June 14 to June 18, featuring 16 finalists. Team Blind asserted their dominance from the outset, maintaining the pole position throughout the Grand Finals. They were the first to reach 200 points on the leaderboard and comfortably surpassed the 250-point mark on the final day, securing a substantial lead to clinch the championship.

Team Soul had an impressive tournament, securing the runner-up position with 210 points and 132 finishes. Team iNSANE claimed the third spot with 207 points and 116 finish points. OR Esports and Orangutan Gaming secured the fourth and fifth places with 206 and 204 points, respectively.

Skyesports Champions Series BGMI Grand Finals: Blind Esports Domination Led to Their Extraordinary Win

Blind Esports has got a direct invite to Skyesports Champions Series (SCS) BGMI Semi-Finals and the team had a nice run in the Semi-Finals as they have secured the second spot in the overall standings among 24 teams. The team accumulated a total of 157 points with 99 finishes, next to Orangutan Gaming in the overall leaderboards.

Blind Esports took the stage on the first day of the finals, leaving no chance for other teams to close in. They have put up points in such a way that they are impossible to defeat. With Blind sitting on the top, it was down to other teams like Soul, OR, OG, VST, etc to secure a standard spot in the overall standings.

Team VST looked strong at the start, but ultimately lost their position and went down to sixth place on the table. The same goes for Orangutan Gaming, who dominated in the Semi-Finals and were placed in fifth place followed by OR Esports with a single-point difference.

Popular teams like Gods Reign and Godlike Esports failed to stay in the top 8 and Gods Reign secured the 10th place while the latter secured the 12th position.

Prize Pool Distribution

The tournament was featured with a Rs 25 lakh prize pool which is distributed among the teams as follows:

  • 1st place: Blind Esports – Rs 12 Lakhs
  • 2nd place: Team Soul – Rs 6 lakhs
  • 3rd place: Team iNSANE- Rs 3 lakhs
  • 4th place: OR Esports – Rs 1.5 lakhs
  • 5th place: Orangutan Gaming – Rs 75000
  • 6th place: Team VST – Rs 50000
  • 7th place: Velocity Gaming – Rs 30000
  • 8th place: Revenant Esports – Rs 20000
  • MVP: Spower (Blind Esports) – Rs 50000
  • Most WWCDs: OR Esports – Rs 50000 (4 WWCD)
