India’s leading esports organizer, Skyesports, brings back the popular BGMI Skyesports Champions Series (SCS) 2024. This year, the Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) tournament gets an “open-for-all” format, allowing players across the country to compete for a share of the impressive Rs 10 Lakhs prize pool.

Building on the success of the 2023 edition, which peaked at 131,000 concurrent viewers, Skyesports offers a wider platform for aspiring BGMI players. The open qualifiers eliminate barriers, giving everyone a chance to showcase their skills and potentially join the competition’s main stage.

AMD partners as the event sponsor, potentially enhancing the gaming experience and EliteHubs joins as the official e-commerce platform.

BGMI Skyesports Champions Series SCS 2024: All You Need to Know

The upcoming BGMI SCS 2024 tournament will feature open qualifiers, offering aspiring teams a chance to compete. The top 18 teams emerging from these qualifiers will advance to the semifinals. Additionally, six teams will receive direct invitations based on their past performance, ensuring representation from established talent in the esports community.

The invited teams are as follows:

  • Blind Esports
  • iQOO Soul
  • Revenant Esports
  • Orangutan Esports
  • Gods Reign Esports
  • GodLike Esports

In simple words, the Semi-Finals will see a total of 24 teams divided into three groups of A, B and C. They are set to take place from February 27 to March 3. Only the top 16 teams from the Semifinals will advance to the Grand Finals.

The Finals, taking place online from March 5th to 10th, will showcase the top 16 teams vying for the championship across six days of intense BGMI matches.

Launched in 2022 with a VALORANT tournament culminating in a live event, the Skyesports Champions Series (SCS) has become a prominent esports property for the organizer. In 2023, the series shifted to Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) and achieved a peak viewership of over 131,000, signifying strong community engagement.
