It’s a new month and gamers have a new lineup of free games on Amazon Prime Gaming which will be available to Prime video subscribers. Prime Gaming is a benefit of having an Amazon Prime membership that offers daily savings, free shipping, prescription savings, and premium entertainment to save users money.

A fresh selection of free games, like Sengoku 2, Over Top, Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition, Autonauts, Roguebook, and more, might be available to Prime members in June. Revenant Esports is making its foray into Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) as the pioneer among the eight franchised teams participating in the Skyesports Masters. This tournament boasts an impressive prize pool of Rs. 2,00,00,000, positioning it as one of India’s most significant gaming competitions to date.

For the upcoming event, Revenant Esports is assembling a seven-man roster, consisting of five main players and two substitutes. The tournament regulations also permit each team to include two international imports. Adhering to the Skyesports Masters’ roster rules, Revenant Esports plans to incorporate two players identified through the cafe qualifiers.

With recent financial backing from Bollywood star Tiger Shroff, Revenant Esports has been establishing its presence in the Indian esports landscape. Securing a spot in India’s inaugural franchised esports tournament underscores the organization’s remarkable growth within the esports realm.

The Skyesports Masters is India’s first-ever franchised esports league with eight teams. The Skyesports Masters is powered by AMD and Windows 11 while Zebronics is the peripheral partner for the event.

Jet Skyesports has unveiled a brand-new competition, the Skyesports Champions Series (SCS), with a focus on BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India) for its fourth edition. This marks a strategic decision by the organizers to showcase India’s beloved battle royale title, BGMI, in the tournament. Notably, the prize pool for this event is the highest ever since the game’s relaunch, standing at Rs 25 lakhs.

BGMI made a triumphant return to India after a ban lasting over 305 days, and tournament organizers are quick to capitalize on the resurgence by announcing new competitions. Krafton, the game’s developer, recently hosted the launch party titled “BGMI Rising,” featuring a substantial Rs 10 lakhs prize pool and participation from influencers nationwide. Skyesports Champions Series SCS BGMI Returns in 2023 with Huge Prize Pool

The Tournament is set to take place in three stages, namely, Quarter Finals, Semi-finals and Grand Finals. The quarter-finals feature 18 invited teams and are set to take place from 7-8 June. The top six teams from the Quarterfinals are said to be qualified for the Semi-Finals where they will be joining 18 other invited teams fighting on the battlegrounds.

The Semi-Finals are set to take place from 9-13 June with 24 teams which are divided into three groups of 8 teams each. The 5-day semi-finals will follow a round-robin format and the top 16 teams will make it to the last stage i.e., Grand Finals which are scheduled to run from 14-18 June.

The quarter-finals of the event are concluded and here are the qualified teams for the Semi-finals.

Skyesports Champions Series BGMI is the major tournament since the game’s unban and there is a huge prize pool at stake for all the participants. On May 31, 2023, Sony unveiled the upcoming additions to PlayStation Plus for the month of June. The upcoming PlayStation Plus games for June include NBA 2K23, Jurassic World Evolution 2, and Trek to Yomi, which are set to become available on the subscription service soon. Players will be able to enjoy the new lineup of games starting from June 6.

Each month, Sony introduces new games to the PS Plus subscription service, allowing players to access a diverse array of games as part of their subscription plan. The PS Plus subscription service offers three variants, and players can choose anyone to become a subscriber.

BGMI is Now Available to Download and Play for Android and iOS Users

The most loved and highly anticipated game in the Indian gaming community, Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), has officially returned to the Google Play Store and App Store after a hiatus of 305 days. Today marks the reinstatement of BGMI, with Krafton initiating server operations early in the morning for Android users and at noon for iOS users. Players across all platforms can now seamlessly download and engage in gameplay directly from the respective app stores.

Accompanied by a 2.5 version update, BGMI’s return comes with a generous offering from Krafton – four permanent outfits available for free. The developers have curated a series of exciting events and introduced new content to captivate users. Among the highlights is the inclusion of the Nusa map, previously introduced in PUBG back in September 2022. Explore the intriguing additions that Krafton has integrated into the game.

BGMI is Now Available to Play: Servers are back Online!

On 19 May 2023, Krafton issued a notice stating the game’s relaunch in India and took down the servers tweaking the changes as accepted by the Indian Government. On 27 May, Krafton sent an in-game announcement stating that the game would be playable from 29 May onwards for all Android existing users preloading the game from 27 May.

Today, at 7:00 AM in the morning, the game was available to play for Android users but not for iOS users. It was expected that iOS users get the update by noon and as expected, by 1:00 PM, the game was now available on the Apple App Store to download and play on iPhones/iPads. The update is being sent in phases as this is a phased rollout and within 48 hours, all users can log in and play the game.

The new 1 x 1km Nusa Map is modelled on a remote tropical island and is the smallest to be introduced in BGMI. It has unique elements such as Ziplines, which players may use to move fast over the island, and Elevators, which are put in hotel buildings in ‘New City’. The Nusa map also has interesting attractions and amusing gameplay elements including zorb balls, a swimming pool, explosive structures, and destructible jars.

In addition to the above features, the Nusa map offers a Super Recall feature for duo/ squad games, in which players who die within a certain period can be recalled to the battlefield by any of their remaining teammates carrying a random weapon. In solitary mode, players can be recalled automatically without the assistance of a buddy.

There is a new Tactical Crossbow that may be used to rebuild the zipline with a loop and to set fire to select homes with fire arrows. A new ATV has also been added to the Nusa map.

It is worth mentioning that players under the age of 18 may only play the game for three hours per day, whilst the rest of the players can play BGMI for six hours per day. Furthermore, parental verification and a daily spending restriction for minors remain in play. Krafton implemented the additional limits to promote responsible gaming practices.

BGMI Unban – BGMI to be Playable after IPL Finals!

Following numerous rumours and speculations, Krafton has officially announced the relaunch date for BGMI. The highly anticipated game is set to make its comeback on both the Google Play Store and App Store on May 29. Existing users can take advantage of the option to preload the game on the Google Play Store starting today, May 27. The official announcement was made through an in-game prompt, providing users with the necessary data and additional information.

Battlegrounds Mobile India, commonly known as BGMI, stands as the Indian iteration of PUBG Mobile, tailored exclusively for the Indian region by Krafton. Initially released on July 2, 2021, the game quickly regained the momentum set by its predecessor, PUBG Mobile. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, BGMI was abruptly removed from both digital storefronts on July 28, 2022, following orders from the Indian Government.

Subsequently, it was confirmed that the game faced a ban under IT Section 69A, the same section that led to the ban of its predecessor in the country. However, after a 10-month-long dispute, Krafton obtained permission to relaunch the game by addressing Indian security concerns.

When Will the Players be able to Play BGMI?

On 19 May 2023, Krafton issued a notice and thanked the government for allowing them to resume the game. The developers had taken the game servers offline, much more likely to make it ready with all agreed terms to the Government.

A few days back, the players spotted the game with an update on the play store and ultimately found that the servers were still offline. Earlier today, at midnight, the in-game prompt message was changed which you can see in the below image stating the details about the games’ relaunch on the App Store and Play Store.

Your most loved game is available to preload from today 27th May onwards. Please note, the game is available to preload only for existing users from the Google Play Store. The game will be playable, however from 29th May onwards.

Considering the announcement, the game will be available to download from 27 May for Android existing users on the Play Store. For newbies and iOS users, the game will be available to download on 29 May.

The game can be accessible and be ready to play from 29 May (Monday) which is after the IPL finals.

Eight of the finest CSGO teams will engage in fierce competition throughout a regular season and playoffs, vying for the championship title and a remarkable Rs. 2,00,00,000 prize pool—marking this event as the largest gaming spectacle in India to date.

In collaboration with the Skyesports Masters, Zebronics aims to spotlight its formidable lineup of Gaming Peripherals, featuring the recently introduced Monitors, Mechanical Keyboards, and Headphones. The initiative not only seeks to showcase Zebronics’ cutting-edge gaming products to a diverse audience but also contributes to the flourishing landscape of India’s gaming and esports industry.

Before the league kicks off, Skyesports will be organizing qualifiers in gaming cafes in 20+ cities across India starting later this month to identify the best talent in Counter-Strike and to facilitate the growth of the game from the grassroots level.
